Both good. I lost the pound I gained last week. However I know I have gained more muscle because my arms are more bulky and I don't even have to flex much. My abs have also been doing a dance of their own, they hurt sometimes. I feel the waist getting smaller, slowly but surely.
Went to a referee clinic where it was noted by a couple people who haven't seen me in a while that I have been working out. It was a good complement, especially from one who is in his 50's but has a body of a guy in his 20's.
I modified my jackknife ab work a bit, instead of going straight up (I still do that though) I go up and both arms pass one side of the legs, then the other to work on my obliques. Between the wii fit and my cardio at the gym, I have burned 800 calories a day, but yet I have been pretty good about not making up for the energy I lost. I do eat, I just don't over do it.
I really wanted a beer yesterday but after dinner I was so full, I didn't want to push it. Maybe later.
